Here is where I'm going to place some of my favorite unrelated artwork and give a little background on them. An improper and parital portfolio if you
will. Most of these will be digital but I'll throw in a few of my old paper drawings as well. I'll try to make them the largest versions I can but many of these pictures
have been shuffled around between drives and computers so some will just be crappy copies. Please note that these are not in chronological order as I can't remember when some
of them were made.
Would you believe this was first thing I ever drew with a tablet? Things have only gone downhill since.
For some reason, when me and my friends were kids we were obsessed with turning Pacman into weapons of war and imagining all the ways he
could obliterate the ghosts. This is the only surviving picture I have from that time.
You can really tell I grew up listening mostly to heavy metal and rock because about 70% of what I drew from ages 8-12 were demons or
guns. Sometimes both.
This is the first thing I ever made in a vector program, inkscape I believe. I was around 14 and had just beaten Brutal Legend so I was
hopped up on heavy metal goodness. Took me about two weeks.
The demon obsession of my earlier years stems from both the music I listened to and Heroes of Might & Magic IV. Look up the demon
faction archer unit to see why they were my favorite.
I don't remember why I made this one but I do remember it taking a long ass time.
Here’s the concept for my character in a Star Wars tabletop game I played a while ago. As you can see, I spent a lot of time fleshing
him out.
Don't ask.
This was an assignment for art class in early high school about flat colors and negative space. There was so much colored pencil on
this that it rubbed off on the inside of my binder and made it look like it belonged to a coal miner.
I don't really remember this one but it sure does have a vibe. I'd hang out in there.
This is some concept art I did of the BBEG for a friend's tabletop campaign. They were a lich but instead of being a skeleton they
were corrupted by an eldritch god of hunger. Here you can also see my terrible handwriting.
This is some sort augmented soldier, I believe? No idea who this bloke is but he’s got that alternate history war drip.
Just a little animated weird science gun I made while learning animation in photoshop in college.
I have a vague memory of making this guy for a tabletop campaign but I can’t for the life of me remember which one. I don't think
it ever even happened.
A stylized metroid I drew for some reason. Not really much to say about it other than it would make a good tattoo.
A project from college where we were given a random word and had to make a title screen for a fake game out of it. My word was
“Sharp”.
This one hurts if you stare at it too long. You're welcome.
The evil master computer for an animation project that never took off. Even though this is just concept art I really like how it turned
out.
Have another piece that is very hard to look at for too long. I had this as my wallpaper for a while and I hated it.
This was a scrapped design for a skateboard deck project I did in college. Unfortunately, the design I did go with has since been
lost because my teacher lost the flash drive it was on and I didn't back it up.
This groovy geometric doodle was on my notebook for my senior year in high school and I liked it so much I vectorized it.
The logo for another one of my writing projects that has since changed enough this is no longer used. Perhaps I'll repurpose it for
something else if I can.
This is a concept for a cover for something else I'm working on but as I plan to do a full rewrite this is probably getting scrapped
or at least altered significantly. I still think it stands on its own just fine.
